We need to learn about your whole home. Homeowners know their homes better than anyone, and we want you to give us the guided tour. Inside, outside, plusses, minuses. We want to know everything you know about your house.

We are going to want to sit down and learn a bit about you. Where you are going, why you are selling. Once your broker has a complete picture, we will present you with a customized listing plan. This plan lays out expectations of Design Realty, expectations of you, how we will sell your home, how much we will sell it for, and how long it will take. We will provide you with this information before we ask you to sign any type of contract.

On average, homes take 30-45 days to close after a buyer is found. This is because 88% of buyers use financing* , and the financing process takes roughly 30-45 days.

Absent financing, a home can sell as quickly as a title insurance company can pay off the existing liens guarantee a clean title transfer. Some cash purchases can close in as little as 5 days.

Getting your home on market is a different timeline, that depends on your situation and the condition of your home. We can move very quickly if needed, but most homes take 2-4 weeks to get ready to go on market.

That is a great question to ask one of our brokers. They will let you know. If you do, we have a great network of reliable contractors we can recommend. As a rule of thumb, paint is usually worth it if it is needed, but that is a subjective question that must be answered by a broker who sees the whole picture.
